Dear Quinoa,

Dear Quinoa,

I love you.

Some might think from your name that you are a nutty warrior princess.
You are instead a nutty grain that is gluten free.
A perfect grain, with all the amino acids you need to unlock protein all in one bite. (unlike beans which need rice) (really, I learned that on a grain box)

I love how tiny you are. I love how I know you're done cooking...when you lose your single curly hair that was wrapped around the ball of a grain.

I love you in the morning (for breakfast with sunflower seeds and diced apple)
I love you in the afternoon
I love you in the evening.

I love you right now. Mixed with rice syrup, sesame seeds and date syrup. (I'm not allergic to date syrup, am I?)

Quinoa, I know you have a lot of different lovers. And a lot of people look up to you (as an ingredient in their profitable sales)
One person who loves you is Oskri Organics.

They turned you into the above bar that I'm eating now.

Even typing about it makes me hungry for another bite. Heavens, you're yummy!

I'm so happy to have staved off another food emergency with you in such a tasty bar.
Please be my friend too, Quinoa.

Let me know, okay?

___Yes ___No
(Check one)

Love, either way,
Rachel

Oh, you love me too?
Or do you love to hate me?
